Adecco is currently assisting a local client in their search for experienced Warehouse Operator candidates in New Bern, NC. This is a long-term temporary to hire job opportunity. Warehouse Forklift Driver positions require candidates to drive within the warehouse, moving product, as well as loading and unloading trucks. Responsibilities for a Warehouse Forklift Operator include but are not limited to:

- Forklift operation (both stand-up and sit down)

- Picking orders

- Auditing orders

- Unloading and loading merchandise

- General warehouse duties

- Complete all job functions following proper safety requirements

Warehouse Forklift Operator candidates must meet the following requirements for consideration:

- 2 years of recent forklift operations experience

- Ability to consistently lift 40-50 pounds

- Current Forklift operator certification is preferred

- A valid state-issued driver?s license

- Ability to work with little or no supervision

- Basic computer skills

- High school diploma or GED equivalent

- Must be able to successfully complete a client specific background check (Clean criminal record with NO felonies or misdemeanors in the past 7 years and a clean drug screen)

We have upcoming openings on 1st shift 8:00AM - 6:30PM to include OT, 2nd shift: 4PM - 2:30AM to include OT, and 3rd shift 12:00AM - 10:30am to include OT. Shifts are working Monday - Saturday, with occasional OT on Sunday. Pay for this position is $8.50 - $8.75/hr plus overtime as needed with increase in pay after certifications.
