Lower Cape Fear LifeCare, based in coastal Wilmington, NC, is an
award-winning, mission-driven nonprofit community-based hospice and
palliative care provider with an outstanding 40 plus year history
of caring for individuals and families in southeastern North
Carolina, and northeastern South Carolina. The agency provides
superior full spectrum care to over 1,000 patients a day in private
residencies, assisted living and skilled nursing facilities, and
our own three inpatient hospice care centers. We also offer
programs specializing in grief care, community education and
outreach, memory care and support, veteran care, and more.

This position will be located at our corporate office in
Wilmington, NC.
What we're looking for:
Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science or a
related field; A master's degree is preferred.
Ten+ years of progressive leadership experience in a complex IT
healthcare environment that includes managing IT team members and
contributing to an organization's strategies and goals
Demonstrated experience with Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
Implementation(s)
Project management experience would be preferred, as well as
experience with data analytics
What you'll do as the Vice President of Technology &
Facilities:
Member of the executive leadership team leading the strategic
direction and execution of digital transformation initiatives while
overseeing facilities management.
The VP of Technology and Facilities reports to the Chief Operating
Officer
Oversees the Information Technology (IT), Health Information
Management (HIM) and Facilities teams, comprised of 9 team members
all employed by the agency, 3 of which are leaders directly
reporting to the VP of Technology and Facilities.
This role ensures that technology and physical spaces align with
the organization's goals, enhancing operational efficiency,
improving user experience, and fostering innovation.
The VP of Technology and Facilities will also assist in developing
a strategic plan and act as a liaison between vendors and community
partners.
