Our professional, compassionate, collaborative, and courteous team is a ton of fun and has been committed to providing comprehensive veterinary care to our highly-valued community since 2006.*Veterinarian Role Requirements** Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university* Licensure in good standing to practice in the state in which you are applying* Professional demeanor and appearance, with excellent interpersonal skills and a positive, friendly attitude* The ability to make decisions and communicate clearly and effectively with fellow team members* A commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine, upholding the veterinary code of ethics* Proficiency in surgery is a plus*Veterinarian Role Responsibilities** Develop a rapport with clients and determine their needs and wishes; perform physical examinations and diagnostic/medical/surgical/dental procedures in a way that will deliver the highest quality care while minimizing patient stress and discomfort.* Explain physical examination findings and communicate to the client a diagnosis of the pets problems; generate and present a treatment plan for the pet to the client; educate clients on preventative health care, including vaccines and appropriate nutritional products.* Maintain client/patient medical/surgical records and make certain all necessary logs are kept up-to-date through established protocols; assist colleagues in follow-up and future management of the patient.* Stay up-to-date with new medical information and changes in veterinary medicine and attend Continuing Education meetings.* Assist in the development of the paraprofessional team to ensure the delivery of the highest quality care and exceptional client service.*Veterinarian Benefits** Veterinarians always earn their base salary and never owe any money at the end of the year.* Relocation Assistance* No Negative Accrual* Maternity Leave* 401k (You receive a 100% match on the first 3% you put in, plus a 50% match on the next 2%.)* High Producer Bonus* Health, Dental, Vision, and Critical Illness Insurance* Hospital Indemnity, Life, and Accident Insurance* Long & Short-term Disability Insurance* Professional Liability Coverage* TeleDoc - Free Access 24/7* Access to Free In-House Continued Education (CE)* Growth tracks for leadership development* Mentorship and coaching for new graduates and experienced Veterinarians* and much more!Join us in our mission to make a difference in the lives of pets and their owners.
