Medstaff National Medical Staffing
has a current opportunity at the Naval Hospital - Beaufort on Port
Royal
Island, SC.-- --Job Description:
M-F only - NO NIGHTS/WEEKENDS
Number of patients may vary - about 6-9 per day
New patient appointments are 90 minutes.-- Follow
up appts are 30-60 minutes
Provide treatment for Psychological Health and
Traumatic Brain Injuries
All adult patients
A sample day - hours are 0730-1600.-- Clinic
morning huddle is from 0750-0800.-- Clinic care starts at 0800 and
most
providers see their last patient by 1500 or earlier.-- Provider
schedules
have 31 hours of clinic care per week.-- The remainder of the work
week is
reserved for a departmental meeting (1 hr on Thursdays) and
non-direct care
duties (i.e.: contacting commands, writing notes, completing any
required
training).----
The role requires US citizenship, Board Certification, and a
state medical license (any state). This provider will care for
active duty
military by providing psychological health and working with
Traumatic Brain
Injury patients on base.-- Hours are
Monday-Friday DAYS ONLY seeing six to eight patients per day. There
is no call
