Physician / Med Peds / Chocowinity, NC


FP or Med-Peds Physician needed in Chocowinity, North Carolina.

--- Clinic hours: 8:30-5:00
--- Four and a half days of clinic per week
--- 3 physicians and 1 nurse practitioner.
--- Shared telephone call, triaged through nurse first
--- Services include: physical exams, well- child visits, acute and chronic care, and preventative care
--- Hospital has a full-time, 24/7 Hospitalist program for inpatient care
--- Physicians see approximately 20+ patients per day

Medical Group employs over 400 providers including primary care and specialists.

The group offers the infrastructure needed to manage a modern medical practice including processes for billing and collection, group contracting, electronic medical records and other technologies.

Hospital is a 142 licensed-bed hospital serving Beaufort County and the surrounding area.

It is a full service hospital with Level II nursery, 12 bassinettes, and an active medical staff of over 50 physicians, representing over 20 specialties, as well as over 600 nurses, technicians and support staff.

The hospital offers a broad range of inpatient and outpatient services including medical, surgical, intensive care, emergency, pediatrics and women---s services. In addition there is a full service lab, diagnostic imaging services, physical and respiratory therapy.
