Job Description:
A company is looking for an Outpatient Hospital Coder.
Key Responsibilities
Collect and abstract accurate diagnosis and procedural codes from
various hospital case types
Resolve coding validation and claim edits based on regulatory
processes
Research account problems and review family complaints related to
coding
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
Associates Degree or two years of college coursework in Health
Information Management or equivalent work experience
Minimum of 12 months as a Seattle Children's Apprentice Hospital
Coder
AHIMA: RHIT, RHIA, CCS, or CCS-P or AAPC: CPC, COC, CIC, CRC, CPMA,
CPC credentials required
