  • Job Details
  • RTO after booking is not allowed and is not allowed to be worked out onsite. Any call offs or additional RTO on unit, could possibly turn into a cancel and DNR.
  • Shift: 3x12-Hour Days- Unit will accept contracts from 13 weeks+ up to March 15, 2025 (hard stop) to get the unit through the holidays!!
  • Call Requirement: potential call 1 to 2, 12 HR call shifts per -2 weeks as needed
  • Float Requirement: REQUIRED AS NEEDED
  • Weekend Requirement: Weekend shifts as needed.
  • **Contract staff will be assigned and expected to work a Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team. Contract staff may be required to report to work during a catastrophic event, mass casualty or disaster. Consolidation to the Centralized Office mid contract may occur and the contract staff may be preassigned to units as needed.
  • PATIENT DIAGNOSES: SPECIAL PROCEDURES / UNIT DETAILS: daily case load 80, 22 rooms. Novant Health provides surgical services that support multi-specialty inpatient, outpatient, and emergent surgical procedures. Procedures include General, Vascular, Neurosurgery, Orthopedic, Urology, EENT, OB/GYN, Plastics, OMF, Trauma, Dental, Pediatric, Neonatal, and Endoscopy --- Organ harvesting .
  • SPECIAL EQUIPMENT: DaVinci
  • SCHEDULING TYPE: Determined by manager
  • UNIT ORIENTATION: Varies depending on experience.
  • SCRUBS: provided
