Overview Novant Health is hiring for an Emergency Department
registered nurse for the night at our Pender Memorial Hospital
location in Burgaw, NC. We're offering up to a $15,000 sign-on
bonus as well as $7,500 relocation. Schedule : Full-time, 0.9 FTE,
72 hours per 2 weeks, night shift, 7P-7A Department : Emergency

Department: Located in a rapidly growing area, Pender Memorial

Department Qualifications Graduate of an accredited school of
nursing required. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in nursing.
Current valid North Carolina nursing license required. Basic Life
Support (BLS) through American Red Cross or American Heart
Association required. 1 Year of ED experience in an acute hospital

has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you
have not been licensed in another state during the last five years,
successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is
required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. In
order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply
for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher

Responsibilities Quickly assess and prioritize patient care needs
in the emergency department. Administer urgent medical treatments
and interventions according to protocols. Work closely with the
healthcare team to coordinate patient care and communicate updates.
Provide patient and family education, offering emotional support
during emergencies. Assist with critical procedures like
resuscitation and trauma stabilization as required. Accurately
document patient information and care interventions in medical
records.
