Autopsies per day: 4-6 - External Exam: 1-3 (depending on complexity)
Duties: - Will perform cases, can also be for back-up if the primary doctor is unexpectedly unavailable (can function as an admin day if not needed for cases). - Or for admin: to allow for report sign out, teaching, meetings, etc.
No. of Beds: 974
Trauma Level: I
Other Info: - Majority of autopsy cases are forensic & remainder are hospital-associated. - Autopsy procedures are performed with an autopsy assistant - Trauma center
Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered Requirements:
- Active NC License
