• Certification Details
• Skills: Telemetry, Vents.
• Certs: ACLS, BCLS, NIH.
• *MUST Pass EKG Testing prior to start for this specialty.*
• Contract staff may be able to float to the ICUs unless taking a stepdown or modified assignment with an ICU RN as primary.
• The contract staff may be required to work a Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team.
  • Job Details
  • RTO after booking is not allowed and is not allowed to be worked out onsite.
  • Ratios: 1:3-6, Flex based on patient populations (PCU-M/S). This position will take MS up to PCU depending on needs.
  • Shift: NIGHTS 36 hours only. Unit will accept contracts from 13 weeks+ up to March 15, 2025 (hard stop) to get the unit through the holidays!
  • PATIENT DIAGNOSES: Caring for patients across the inpatient spectrum from medical surgical, cardiac, progressive care/step down, and stroke.
  • SPECIAL PROCEDURES/UNIT DETAILS: FLOAT POOL UNIT.
  • UNIT SYSTEMS (Medication, Documentation, Communication): PYXIS, EPIC, SBAR.
  • UNIT ORIENTATION: 24 hours.
  • SCRUBS: Navy.
    • Job Requirements
    • Minimum Years of Experience: 3 Years required.
    • Traveler Experience: unit does NOT accept first-time travelers.
    • Skills: Telemetry, Vents.
    • Certs: ACLS, BCLS, NIH.
    • *MUST Pass EKG Testing prior to start for this specialty.*
    • Contract staff may be required to care for patients with COVID. During times of increased census typical ratios may be higher.
      • Schedule Information
      • Shift: NIGHTS 36 hours only.
      • SCHEDULING TYPE: Based on scheduling gaps.
      • Weekend Requirement: EVERY OTHER WEEKEND.
      • **Contract staff will be assigned and expected to work a Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team.
      • Contract staff may be required to report to work during a catastrophic event, mass casualty or disaster.
