EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Direct-Hire
PAY RANGE: $175,000 - $230,000

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
We are seeking a Nuclear Fuel Fabrication Engineer for our innovative nuclear energy
client! You will act as a project manager, technical liaison and fuel fabrication SME. This is an
immediate direct-hire opportunity with a generous relocation package to anyone not local to
the area.

This nuclear engineer will be responsible for monitoring fuel manufacturing process
development, facility construction, equipment procurement, commissioning, and overall fuel
fabrication project management. This position requires expertise in nuclear fuel fabrication,
project management, and compliance with nuclear regulatory standards.

--- Support coordination of scope, schedule, and technical integration for commercial fuel
manufacturing process development, construction of a fuel fabrication facility.
--- Provides continuous oversight of fuel activities scope of work for nuclear project
--- Functions as a direct and immediate technical liaison on the progression of fuel
fabrication activities.
--- Supports fuel supply team by facilitating good communication between stakeholders
and managers.
--- Supports additional project managers by resolving/clarifying scope and schedule
issues and coordinating with the fuel supply team.
--- Supports technical issues, nuclear procedures, fuel fabrication facility design
strategies, and implementation of licensing strategy.
--- Qualify fuel fabrication equipment.
--- Travel requirements: 25%

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
--- 5-10 years of commercial nuclear fuel fabrication experience.
--- Project management experience working in the nuclear industry.
--- Experience as a technical engineer working in a nuclear quality (10 CFR 50, Appendix
B) environment.
--- Experience working with complex schedule platforms (Primavera P6 or equal) and
data analysis tools like Power BI.
--- Familiarity with commercial fuel fabrication processes, production facility construction
and commissioning and oversight of nuclear fuel component production.
--- Familiarity with integrated safety analyses and nuclear fuel fabrication facility licensing
under 10 CFR Part 70
--- Experience working to quality standards on design activities, such as ASME NQA-1 or
ISO 9001.
